 Current Openings

Part Time & Full Time Janitorial Positions

Currently, we have positions available in various locations. These individuals must be great at working together and independently, willing to go above and beyond expectations, have a pleasant demeanor, and good communication skills. While cleaning experience is preferred, we will hire based on desire first. ​

Full Time Floaters (Monday-Friday)

​We are looking for independently driven individuals that can clean throughout all of our locations. This position is unlike our regular cleaning positions, in that you are not in the same location night after night. This individual must be self-motivated and a problem solver with great communication skills.

Senior Floor & Carpet Cleaning Technician

We are looking for an outstanding Floor & Carpet Technician with 5+ years of experience. This individual must be self-motivated and a problem solver with great communication skills.


  • Vacuuming
  • Mopping
  • Encapsulation
  • Extraction (wet/dry)
  • Strip & finish floors
  • Carpet spot removal
  • Transport equipment, tools and supplies
  • Move furniture before/after clean
  • Communicate changes, progress, or problem areas


  • ​Experience in the janitorial industry required, with floor/carpet care expertise preferred
  • A pre-employment background screening and drug test will be required
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License a must!

Eileen L. Brophy, President

In January 2007, I became the proud owner of Brophy Services, Inc. after the death of my late husband, Tim. I became a quick study in finance, sales, human resources, marketing, client retention, and company operations. In my previous life, I worked at Mutual of New York (now AXA Towers) and O’Brien & Gere, where I was an executive assistant and a facility manager, respectively. These two roles allowed me to focus on client and employee relations. Knowing that I want to treat clients and employees the way I want to be treated has allowed me to build upon the foundation Tim created.

I graduated from high school and attended Central City Business Institute where I received my associate’s degree. I furthered my education by getting another two-year degree in general studies and was also ten classes short of receiving my Bachelor’s when Tim passed. Given my new role and responsibilities, my degree was and has been put on hold.

I am active in organizations such as Women Presidents Organization (WPO), Centerstate CEO Board of Directors, and Centerstate CEO Partners Advisory Committee, all in an effort to help support myself in business and the community in which I live. In 2018, I was asked to serve on the board of directors for the Haven at Skanda, which provides a loving home to rescued and endangered animals where they can relax, live in their own natural rhythms of life, and emerge into who they really are.

Some of my accomplishments:

  • In November 2013, I received the first-ever “Woman of the Year” Award by Today’s CNY Woman magazine. I received this award for demonstrating exemplary leadership and exceptional performance in many focused efforts and professional endeavors. Achieving pinnacles of success, projecting a positive role model and mentorship to younger generations, possessing an innovative spirit, and advocating for women’s issues.
  • In April 2011, I received the Ann Michel Distinguished Entrepreneur Award from the Falcone Center for Entrepreneurship and WISE (Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship) and participated in the Syracuse University Whitman School of Management Corporate Entrepreneurship program in an effort to further increase my business management knowledge.
  • In 2009, we became a certified Women Business Enterprise making Brophy Services, Inc. the largest locally female-owned and operated cleaning service in Central New York.
  • In 2007-2008, I participated in a mentor-protégé program through WISE in an effort to learn how to run a business I had no prior knowledge in!
